__tiefKLANG-Exhibition_"To Feel A Moment"
On FridayAugust 20, 2010 at 7 p.m. the first consequently conceived 'multisensorial' exhibition worldwide opens as part of International Sound Art Festival _tiefKLANG 2010 in Berlin, Germany
Der Mensch nimmt ganzheitlich wahr, seine Umwelt, seine Mitmenschen, auch ein Kunstwerk. Jeder Eindruck eines lebendigen Gegenübers, eines Gegenstandes, einer Situation oder eines Vorganges ist ein Konglomerat aus verschiedenen Sinnesreizen in unterschiedlicher Gewichtung.
Beings are perceiving as a whole - locations, the environment, other people as well as art works. Each impression of another being, of an object, a situation or something going on around is a mixture of many sensoric informations in a mixture with different grades of intensity.
The Sound-Pic-Taste-Smell-Feel-Scenario of Berlin based composer and sound artist Thomas Gerwin explores and investigates the complexity and interdependence of senses in the perception art and time. This by stimulating a combination of distinct senses and/or fading out other senses at the same time. The newly created exhibition "To Feel A Moment" as part of _tiefKLANG2010 at Fichtebunker at Berlin Underground Society is build of 17 partly interactive partly "situative" multisensorial art installations. One can explore art with ears, eyes, tongue, nose and skin: ART WITH ALL SENSES!
Diese Komplexität des Zusammenspiels der Sinne bei künstlerischer Wahrnehmung und besonders die Empfindung der Zeit untersucht die multisensoriale Klang-Bild-Tast-Riech-Fühl-Kunstinszenierung des Berliner Komponisten und Klangkünstlers Thomas Gerwin. Hierbei werden die einzelnen Sinne auf besondere Weise und in ungewöhnlicher Kombination angesprochen aber auch teilweise bestimmte Sinne gezielt ausgeblendet. Die neue Ausstellung im "Fichtebunker" besteht aus einem Parcours von insgesamt 17 teils interaktiven, teils "situativen" multisensorialen Klangkunst-Arbeiten. Man/frau erlebt Kunst audio-visuell, gustatorisch, olfaktorisch und taktil: KUNST MIT ALLEN SINNEN!
